With the time change on Sunday night, I actually drive home in the dark now, and I saw a full moon tonight. This made me think of Loy Krathong, I knew it was that time of the year and sure enough many places in Thailand celebrated their Loy Krathong over the weekend.
The Loy Krathong Festival [......more info>>>

I also know Rich Devos albeit vicariously

Malaysia |
I've just finished reading the autobiography of Richard M. Devos who was the co-founder of Amway Corporation and owner of the Orlando Magic. At first glance, we might expect a book on the world's most successful multi-level marketing entrepreneur to be nothing short of your typical motivational talk...more info>>>

It’s official — I hate assessment days. As Vanessa said, it feels like exams every month. Sure, you can psyche yourself up that you are going to take it easy this time, you are doing it at your own pace and it’s okay if your time doesn’t improve. Load of crock. The pressure i...more info>>>

Song Giang – Uoc Mo Co Nhau

Vietnam |
Song Giang has a sexy, slightly smoky voice, but her song selection on her forth release, Uoc Mo Co Nhau, makes her sound rather sleepy. The leadoff title track is simply snoring and she has done her best but still couldn’t make Bao Chan’s overrated “Bien Em La Bien Rong” any...more info>>>

My impressions of Dr. Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin

While I am certainly not a Muslim and I do not want to be involved in the theological debates among Muslims, I must also very frankly and honestly admit that Dr. Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin always impresses me with the striking clarity of his mind, which is evidently reason-based. I also think Dr. Mohd ...more info>>>
