Morning Song by Anakwad:Native American Flute w/Nature Sounds
I stopped by the Rice paddy after work on Friday, I had to do a few quick snapshots because it was threatened to rain on me. There were dark patches of cloud above and I heard thunders from a distance, not a good sign at all.

Highway Robbery in Thailand
|
Thailand |
Today I received an email forward that is doing the rounds in Thailand at the moment. It shows some "highway robbers" in action in Thailand. The lady who took these pictures was annoyed with being pulled over and decided to document her experience. Don't ask me how she got away with taking these p...more info>>>

It’s only been a few days since I got back from London, and in that time I’ve make a video. I have to warn you this video’s editing is not very professional, I sort of wanted to get through it as soon as possible and get on with preparing for Tokyo. I went to get [...]

Saigon Developement Update - August 2009
|
Vietnam |
This morning I took a drive to town for a few things and stopped on the way to have a look around the site of the tunnel which makes up part of the east-west highway. One of the best vantage points is the Museum of Ho Chi Minh, one of my favourite places in Ho Chi Minh City. Not that you'll find me ...more info>>>

When we first came to America back in the 80s, like most refugee we didn’t have a lot, so minimalist lifestyle was not a luxury, but a necessity for us, we learned to live with very few items. I think that all had changed when we moved to North Carolina, I discovered myself having a [...]...more info>>>

Here we go round the mulberry bush..
|
Japan |
Mulberry trees used to be a lot more common in the old days, and most farmhouses had some planted around them. There are a few of them near my riverside garden, and now the fruits are turning black and ripe and so with stained fingers we gather as much as we can. Mostly we make jam with them, or sau...more info>>>

Crowd control

East Timor |
The Tour de Timor was a great event and I’m really glad the organizers pulled it off. The positive response to the tour means it’s almost certain it will happen again next year. What I didn’t like was how the national police force (PNTL) dealt with crowd control at the finish line on Friday.

I am still me, the sixteen year old dreamer

Malaysia |
Lately, I am constantly being reminded of a dream I conjured as a teenager about to enter college. Before I met Dr. Friedman in 2004, my life had been filled with British influence. From my aunt's family to my love for English literature, London Broadway musicals and the royal school ......more info>>>

Film Review: ??? / Exchange Students / Tenkousei
|
Japan |
Made way back in 1982, ??? (Exchange Students) starts with a premise that you’ve heard a thousand times; two people switch bodies, hilarity ensues. But wait! Come back! This isn’t some Freaky Friday ripoff. This is one of the most rewarding films I’ve watched in a long time, and be...more info>>>
